Why did you decide to bring together all the different challenge events in one place? Why not just focus on one?

We want to inspire and motivate people to step out of their comfort zone and try something different. We wanted to create a one-stop shop where people don't have to trawl the internet looking at different websites for the events they want to do - instead, we wanted a runner to be able to find their next run, a swimmer to find their next swim and a cyclist to find their next sportive. And if looking for an event inspires them to try something new along the way, encouraging people to step out of their comfort zone can only be a good thing!

How can we get involved with Up For A Challenge?

We're always looking for people who may be willing to contribute to our blog, or people who may be interested in reviewing events. Drop a line to [email protected] and tell us a bit about you, where you're based and the type of events you enjoy and we'll come back to you.

I run an awesome event! You should take part. Can I submit it to your database?

Of course! Events can be added to our database free of charge. We simply ask that you contact [email protected] with details such as price, location, website, a high resolution photo and a testimonial if possible. We'll then add it to our website. In return, we'd love it if you could give us a shout out on your social media channels - no pressure of course!

Can you come and review our event?

Yes! We love reviewing races where possible for our blog. Email [email protected] with further information and we'll see what we can do.

What are the incentives for signing up to your mailing list? Surely I can just read the event details on the website?

You can do that, but then you'd be missing out on exclusive subscriber only discount codes and competitions. And that would be a shame. We promise not to sell on any of your personal details or spam you.

Are you interested in partnership and collaboration opportunities?

Yes, we'd love to hear from suitable brands about potential ways of working together. Email [email protected]

What's your favourite type of challenge event?

We like to have a go at everything, but with several marathons collectively under our belts, we're quite fond of an old-fashioned run!
